About me

I have been painting since October 2005. I enrolled in an Oil Painting class at the local college, specifically, to create a painting of my favorite photo of Jack. Aside from my first oil, a landscape, I have only painted animal portraits. I have had several requests for baby/children portraits, however I have never tried to paint a portrait of a human. I'll have to change the name of the website when I do.... or not, depending on who the portrait is of. ;) Most of my animal obsession is directly related to my dogs, Jack and Gus. When I'm not stuffing these guys into my tiny car for our next wilderness adventure, I'm curled up with or taking photos of them! The amount of joy that I experience as a result of their constant and unconditional admiration, is ineffable! An Oil Painting is a great way to immortalize their memory and a fun way for me to generate funds for animal rescue. If I paint a portrait for you, 20% of the total portrait price will be donated to the animal rescue group of YOUR choice.
